Planning For a Destination Wedding | Estes Park, Colorado

Capturing Stephanie and Josh’s winter wedding at The Boulders in Canyon Inn was an absolute blast! The scenery was stunning – we were surrounded by the Rocky Mountains in Estes Park, Colorado. It was a photographer’s dream come true! But the real magic was in the couple’s intentionality – every single thing was personal and meaningful, from the bridesmaids’ dresses to their non traditional ceremony. And let me tell you, planning a destination wedding is no joke – but Stephanie and Josh absolutely nailed it! If you’re thinking about planning for a destination wedding, just remember to have fun – your destination wedding dreams can totally become a reality!

Intentional Wedding Planning

Can we just take a sec to talk about how epic Stephanie and Josh’s wedding was?! They did such a good job when it came to planning for a destination wedding! They’re from Kentucky, but they’ve been traveling to Colorado for years and decided to make it their destination wedding spot! The Boulders at Canyon Inn provided the perfect backdrop for their modern, minimal wedding, and Stephanie looked like a straight-up goddess in her dress! But get this, she let her bridesmaids choose their own dresses – everyone looked so unique and beautiful. And I thought it was so cool that Stephanie’s sis officiated the non-traditional ceremony! During the reception, DJ Matt Diano got people dancing and it was a blast! And then the cherry on top? Stephanie and Josh snuggled up at the Della Terra, living their best lives. I’m getting all the feels just thinking about it!
