One of the reasons I adore shooting Mommy and Me sessions is that I approach them in a fun, relaxed, and heartfelt way. My goal is to make sure that you and your littles feel at ease throughout the entire process. My favorite way to capture your journey as a family is to be a fly on the wall. I help you plan ahead of time to make sure that your family’s story is being told as accurately and beautifully as possible. I pick your brain on what everyday moments you want to remember and plan out your session so that your photos reflect your unique bond. Of course, no two families are the same, so the photos you walk away with will be as one-of-a-kind as you are.

For this session with Ela and her little girl, we wanted to capture all of the in-between moments. We switched outfits between each activity so that the photos felt more authentic rather than a staged day of photos. We incorporated her daughter’s favorite toys, books, food, etc. Most importantly…I let them be them. There’s no need for stiff poses or awkward smiles – just authentic moments of connection and love.
